Grievance Redressal
Saudamini Institute of Nursing and Research is committed to providing a fair, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff. Our Grievance Redressal mechanism ensures that concerns and complaints are addressed promptly, confidentially, and in a structured manner.
1. Objective
The purpose of the Grievance Redressal Cell is to:
- Encourage a responsive and accountable attitude among all stakeholders.
- Resolve academic, administrative, or personal grievances impartially.
- Provide a safe and confidential platform to raise concerns.
2. What Can Be Reported?
Grievances may include, but are not limited to:
- Academic issues (exams, evaluation, attendance, etc.)
- Administrative concerns (fees, facilities, services)
- Harassment or discrimination of any kind
- Unfair treatment by peers, faculty, or staff
- Issues related to hostel, safety, or hygiene
3. Grievance Redressal Committee
The institute has established a Grievance Redressal Committee comprising senior faculty members, administrative officers, and student representatives. The committee meets regularly to review and resolve submitted grievances.
4. How to Submit a Grievance
Students can register a grievance through any of the following methods:
- By filling the Grievance Submission Form available in the Admin Office
- Through the suggestion/complaint box placed in the main building
- During scheduled meetings with student mentors or class coordinators
5. Process of Resolution
- Grievance is acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt
- Preliminary review is conducted by the Grievance Cell
- Involved parties may be called for discussion or clarification
- Resolution is communicated within 7–10 working days
6. Confidentiality & Non-Retaliation
All grievances are handled with strict confidentiality. Retaliation or victimization of the complainant is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
7. Appeals
If the complainant is not satisfied with the resolution, an appeal can be made to the Principal or the higher authority as applicable.
