About the Program

The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course is a comprehensive diploma program designed to prepare students to become competent nurses and midwives capable of delivering quality healthcare services in hospitals, communities, and other healthcare settings. At Saudamini Institute of Nursing and Research, the GNM program combines in-depth theoretical instruction with extensive clinical experience to foster the development of professional nursing skills and ethical care practices.

Program Duration

• Duration: 3 years
• Internship: 6 months of compulsory clinical internship

Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 (any stream) with minimum 40% marks from a recognized board
• Minimum age: 17 years (as on 31st December of admission year)
• Candidate must be medically fit
